I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix ) @5 X( j3 I$ s6 w3 t) |) L( i2 F0 e- H2 b5 p7 K
